Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Lumen West Freight and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. We reward reliability. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for proof of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with proof of delivery. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
