Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (San Jose, CA)

Foxglove Summit Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its San Jose plant. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for machine downtime. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
