Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (San Jose, CA)

Northwind Vista Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around San Jose, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for supplier deliveries. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
