Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Stone Freight and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for proof of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
