Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (San Diego, CA)

Foxglove Orchard Farms is an agricultural business based around San Diego, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for grower contracts. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with grower contracts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
