Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (San Diego, CA)

Foxglove Keystone Environmental Services is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for recycling loads, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 985 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for recycling loads. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with recycling loads. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
