Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (San Antonio, TX)

Fernwood Stone Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around San Antonio. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. We reward reliability. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for proof of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with proof of delivery. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
