Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (San Antonio, TX)

Rivermark Corner Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its San Antonio plant. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for machine downtime. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
