Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Salt Lake City, UT)

Lumen Stone Farms is an agricultural business based around Salt Lake City, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 73 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for grower contracts. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with grower contracts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
