Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Salt Lake City, UT)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Inspection Services Group and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of about 333 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for certifications. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with certifications. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
