Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Salt Lake City, UT)

Silverline Vista Press is a printer and publisher in Salt Lake City serving local and national clients. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for press runs. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with press runs. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
