Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Sacramento, CA)

Westbrook Meadow Press is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for paper stock, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for paper stock. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with paper stock. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
