Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Sacramento, CA)

Clearpath Vista Manufacturing Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for tooling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for tooling. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
