Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Sacramento, CA)

Rivermark Corner Construction is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for permits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for permits. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
