Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Nova Bright Press and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for proofing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with proofing. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
