Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Sacramento, CA)

Northwind Corner Auto Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for warranty claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for warranty claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with warranty claims. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
