Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Richmond, VA)

Bright River Auto Group is a Richmond company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 47 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for service appointments. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with service appointments. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
