Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Richmond, VA)

Bluepeak Iron Auto Group is a Richmond company supplying vehicle parts and service, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for service appointments. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with service appointments. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
