Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Reno, NV)

Lumen Drift Foods Group is a Reno food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 29 people based in Reno. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for ingredient orders. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
