Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Reno, NV)

Bright Ember Manufacturing Group manufactures parts and assemblies at its Reno plant. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Reno. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for machine downtime. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
