Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Reno, NV)

Fernwood Meridian Inspection Services Partners is an inspection company in Reno with field technicians and lab staff, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for client sites. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with client sites. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
