Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Ironwood Granite Manufacturing makes precision components in Birmingham. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for production lines. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
