Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Cedar Juniper Farms supplies farm and food customers across the San Diego region, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 187 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for packing house output. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with packing house output. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
