Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Orchard Freight and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for dock schedules. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with dock schedules. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Colorado Springs. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
