Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Westbrook Stone Inspection Services is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for test reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for test reports. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
