Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Rivermark Keystone Freight is a Birmingham logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. We reward reliability. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for loads and lanes. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
