Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Bright Junction Manufacturing is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for production lines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for production lines. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
