Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Northwind Quill Inspection Services is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for test reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 127 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for test reports. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
