Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Greenridge West Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Rochester. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for test reports. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
