Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Cedar Foods produces packaged foods at its San Antonio plant, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for customer specifications. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
