Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

We are growing our team at Bright Glen Foods and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of about 310 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for cold storage. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
