Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Cedar Beacon Manufacturing Group manufactures parts and assemblies at its Jacksonville plant, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for work orders. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Jacksonville. • We reply to every applicant.
