Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Lumen Ivory Freight is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for proof of delivery, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for proof of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
