Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Cedar Bright Manufacturing is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for machine downtime, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for machine downtime. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
