Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Clearpath Umber Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Birmingham. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for allergen controls. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
