Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Harborlight Cedar Inspection Services is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for scheduling. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with scheduling. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
