Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Northwind Ashton Telecom is a telecommunications provider in San Jose focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for outage reports. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with outage reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
