Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Summit Quarry Telecom Partners is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for outage reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 130 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for outage reports. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with outage reports. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
