Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Westbrook Pike Press is a printer and publisher in Atlanta serving local and national clients, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for press runs. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with press runs. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Atlanta. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
