Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Silverline Cedar Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Kansas City. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for field inspections. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with field inspections. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
