Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Summit Birch Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Jackson focused on reliable home and business connections, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of about 873 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for outage reports. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with outage reports. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
