Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Fernwood Hollow Telecom provides broadband and phone service around St. Louis. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of about 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for field visits. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with field visits. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
