Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Ironwood Sable Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Kansas City plant, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for print quotes. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with print quotes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
