Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Highbridge Timber Auto Group is a Chicago company supplying vehicle parts and service, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 22 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for customer estimates. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with customer estimates. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
