Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Nova Ashton Telecom Group builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Houston area. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for outage reports. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with outage reports. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
