Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Westbrook Summit Construction Group is a Philadelphia contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for project schedules. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with project schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
