Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Highbridge Orchard Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Chicago. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. We reward reliability. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for claims. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
