Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Lumen Rook Manufacturing Partners manufactures parts and assemblies at its Pittsburgh plant, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 43 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for work orders. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
