Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Cedar Foods Partners and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for customer specifications. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
