Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Northwind Vale Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Seattle. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for online orders. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with online orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
